This artist studied expressive art modalities at the Expressive Arts Institute including clay, painting, dance, poetry, performance, and drawing. Helping others heal through the arts has lit up her life. Rachael McDaniel's work grants her a sense of purpose, not only through the artistic process itself, but also through the charities that her art sales have benefitted. Through her art sales she has raised funds for Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit environmental organization that works to protect and preserve the world's oceans, waves and beaches. Rachael’s work has also benefited the ONG’s CHS Alternative that works to stop human trafficking in the America’s.

One of Rachael Marie McDaniel’s proudest achievements is contributing to the Skystone Foundation. This organization, which is responsible for operating James Turrell's Roden Crater, entrusted McDaniel with the task of writing the bibliography for the monumental land art that is due to open in the next five years.
